Amanda's passion is helping others resolve their stress by eliminating blocked thought processes. She works with each client to develop a customized plan to address their unique needs.
My Story
Amanda has spent 10+ years working in the trauma and disaster mental health response field. She has experience responding to various types or disasters, some of these responses include hurricanes in Florida and Louisiana, typhoon response in Guam, the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in Orlando, Florida, Miami Condo Collapse in Surfside, Florida, Tops Supermarket Shooting in Buffalo, NY, and Robb Elementary School Shooting in Uvalde, TX. Amanda specializes in working with business executives in high-stress professions, first responders, disaster workers, active military and veterans.
Amanda’s community involvement has included: volunteering as a Guardian Ad Litem for two years (2009-2010 & 2012-2013}, served on the Volusia Flagler Coalition for the Homeless, Board of Directors (2012-2016), and served as the board president (2014-2016), served on Volusia/Flagler Crisis Response Team (2015-2018) and as the director of the response team (2018-2020), and served on the Red Cross Disaster Mental Health team (2018-2023). Amanda currently deploys with Disaster & Victim Services International as a Mass Casualty and Disaster Support Specialist, the Florida Crisis Response Team (FCRT/NOVA), and as a Central Florida Disaster Medical Coalition team member. Amanda is a preceptor for Physician Assistant (PA) student’s behavioral health rotations for Nova and Bay Path University and a Field Education Coordinator for BSW, MSW, and Mental Health student’s generalist and/or clinical internships with Nova, Walden and Florida State University.
